With Barack Obama winning the
the Presidency of the United
States...America has begun a
new era...
Colorless Politics. The reason
you saw Jesse Jackson crying
at Obama's acceptance speech
is because he realized his
days of blaming "Whitey" for
everything are over...
Barack Obama ran a campaign that,
other than the Rev. Wright
issue, was run on issues...
Even as we deal with the economic
depression, color has never come
to the forefront from Obama...
The winning of a “Colorless Presidency” is shining a light on other politicians who have run
without color being an issue...
DeVul Patrick...Governor of,
MA...
Harold Ford...ex-congressman from
TN...a mover and shaker in
the Democratic party...
Adrien Fenty...Mayor of
Washington D.C.,
Corey Booker...Mayor of
Newark, New Jersey...and
Keith Ellison...
Representative, MN.
The thing that all these men
have in common is that they've
embraced America and have worked
within the system...
They've made the system work
for them...
But, alot of this was made possible
by Black Leaders from the past
the list is long from WEB Dubois,
Booker T. Washington, Malcolm X,
Martin Luther King , Thurgood
Marshall and the list goes on...
The new generation of "Colorless
Black Leaders" are aware they're
Black but, with the election of
Barack Obama a light was shined on
on the new era of American politics…
and it's a welcomed era...
