America , We are junkies, drug

addicts...crack, heroin? No...But the prescription kind ... Oxycontin, Vicodin, Zoloft...the list is too long to continue...Who knows when it started, but it is now outta control...the phrase "Natural High" doesn't apply to Americans...Along with alcohol…America, is the number one drug-addicted nation in the world...

The majority of people in "Drug

Rehab" aren't there for heroin

or cocaine...but for some

kind of prescription addiction...

And what's worse Americans think

this is normal...From Students ,

teachers, actors, athletes, talk show

hosts, housewives, business executives...young and old are doing some kind of prescription mind-altering drugs...

According to the water pollution issue,

people in America be advised...our water supplies have particles of many prescription drugs...Prescription drugs are the silent addiction in America...

and it's all in the Family, kids

take it from their parents’ medicine

cabinets, use their parents’ doctors to get prescription drugs...we need drugs to stay awake, to go to sleep, for pain,

to be happy, to slow down, to speed up, not to be depressed...You can

find these drugs in schools, the board rooms, health clubs, computer rooms...People on these  prescription drugs, function daily in our society,

and would never think of themselves

as drug addicts...they look down

on crack, heroin, and alcohol addicts...

but take away their drugs and

they'll go crazy...Addicts know they

can get drugs from their doctors

anytime as long as they check

in once or twice a year...

and if a doctor won't give them

the drugs they want, they'll just

go to another doctor...Multi-Billion

dollar drug companies and doctors

are the drug pushers...This is a trend

that's only growing...People graduate

from and move from drug to drug...People trade drugs with their friends and even their children, like you would trade baseball cards...The late Actor Heath Ledger is a prime example of someone who

got in involved a deadly prescription

drug cocktail that eventually took

his life...I would love to say I or

someone else has a great Idea of

how to stop this abuse ...

But I don't ...
