Well Prop. 8, the gay marriage
Amendment, has lost again in
CA...But, the gay lobby continues to fight for a cause that Californians have voted against at least twice...and they went to the Supreme Court too…they have said....no, no, no...sometimes you just have to admit you've been defeated...They've poured enough money into this campaign to balance the national budget...they've attacked anyone who has disagreed with them, including the former Miss California, Carrie Prejean...I agree with Miss Prejean...Marriage is between a
man and a woman...and no, gay marriage doesn't affect my life...
I do believe in the sanctity of marriage...There is something called tradition...we shouldn't have to defend ourselves and be called
homophobes just because we believe in and express our opinions on a issue...Civil unions afford gay couples the legal rights...Gay couples have and do
adopt children, have name changes, share banking and hospital info... It does amaze me that the gay community continues to clog our courts with these lawsuits...Some states that do allow
gay marriages, such as Iowa and Maine, are working hard to overturn their court-order gay marriage edits...It is obvious the majority of Americans don't agree with gay marriages, as the majority of states have had ballot issues that have voted down gay marriage...I do believe that sometime in the future gay marriage will be the law of the land...but for me, I'm glad it's not now...There has to be some rule of law in America and for now gay marriage isn't one of them...
